You will find funny poetry by Sydnie Kleinhenz in the collections, Miles of Smiles and Phonics Through Poetry. Her poems have also been published in Spider, Children’s Playmate, and Boys’ Quest magazines. Beginners can read rhymes about carnivores, herbivores, and omnivores in the picture book, Pleased to Eat You. The rhyming Hello Math Reader, More for Me, is a Scholastic Book Club pick about parts and wholes.
Sydnie Kleinhenz also writes books for educational programs. Kindergarten through fourth grade students may recognize titles from their classroom reading: Kip Went Zip, Math Chat, Otto’s Mess, Texas Eggs, The Mystery of the Missing Malamute and others.
