Fisher, Doris
Doris Fisher is a former kindergarten teacher with four published, award winning, picture books. She also has more than 100 poems, puzzles and articles published in children’s magazines including Highlights for Children, Babybug, Hopscotch for Girls, Boys’ Quest, and Fun for Kidz.
Her picture books are Happy Birthday to Whooo? A Baby Animal Riddle Book,
and three math books in rhyme, One Odd Day, an introduction to odd numbers, My Even Day, an introduction to even numbers, and My Half Day, an introduction to fractions.
Doris’s books are great for ages 3-8. Her author visits include reading her books, using props, speaking about writing, and encouraging students to visit their local public library.
Her visits are geared for grades PreK through second, third through fifth, and for adults.
