NEW PUBLISHERS! NEW OPPORTUNITIES!

Editor Day, presented in collaboration with North Harris College Writing Center, presents a unique opportunity for writers and illustrators to access five editors, most of whom are from houses that restrict submissions and two representing new presses.

This year's event is different in that participants will NOT bring manuscripts to the event. Instead, attendees will receive Houston-SCBWI stickers to validate submissions.

Get up-to-date information from these editors:

Allyn Johnston, Vice-President and Publisher, new Beach Lane imprint at Simon & Schuster ' picture book manuscripts as well as illustration submissions.

Elizabeth Law, Vice-President and Publisher, new American imprint Egmont USA. ' chapter books and easy readers.

Amy Lennox, Editor, Sleeping Bear Press ' ABC and Counting Books; illustrations

Diane Muldrow, Editorial Director, Golden Books/Random House ' fiction and nonfiction mass market books with the 'Golden Book' feel, as well as hardcover picture books and manipulative books. Her own books will be for sale.
