Mary H. Wright's book, Stranded, Stormy’s
Adventure, is based on a true story about a dolphin rescued and rehabilitated by the Texas Marine Mammal Stranding Network. Mary gives a mini Marine Science lesson, reads the book, shows a film of Stormy's actual rescue, and has Dolphin bones that children can handle. You can see the book at: www.dolphinsdolphins.com. The program lasts 45 minutes.
Mary's new book, Grandma Spoils Me, is written in verse, has beautiful illustrations, and is about Henry and his grandmother. Henry's mom tells him his grandmother spoils him, and Henry goes through the times he spends with her, and decides she spoils him with love and attention, not stuff. There is a counting game in the book, ie: how many different glasses Grandma wears, how many times you see the cat, dolphins, etc. The answers are on the cover. You can see this book at: www.Grandmaspoilsme.com.
