Sydnie Kleinhenz likes to write funny poems. Some are in Miles of Smiles, and Phonics Through Poetry. Others are in Spider, Children’s Playmate, and Boys’ Quest magazines. Her beginning reader, Pleased to Eat You, describes carnivores, herbivores, and omnivores in simple, funny rhyme. More for Me, a rhyming Hello Math Reader, was a Scholastic Book Club pick. Sydnie also writes stories and curriculum for educational publishers. Look for her new books in 2004:  Dynamic Reefs and Work and Play. Presentations include creativity games, writing strategies, and pointers for polishing poetry. Groups create original poems rollicking with rhythm and rhyme.
