Varsha Bajaj, a former counselor, is the award winning
author of How Many Kisses Do You Want Tonight?
(Little Brown, 2004). It was selected to be on the Texas
Library Association’s 2x2 list for 2004-2005. She enjoys
visiting schools, and interacting with students and teachers.
Presentations using slides include, “The story behind the book,
and “Bedtimes, counting and rhyme.” Groups also create an
original verse to add to the ones in her book! Born in India,
she went to graduate school in Illinois, and worked as a
counselor in St. Louis, Mo. She then wandered to Houston, where
she lives with her husband and two children.
